# EmbedFox data processing addendum

This addendum forms part of the paid EmbedFox agreement between the customer
(the controller) and Sinfin s.r.o., Písnická 763/29, Kamýk, 142 00 Prague 4,
Czech Republic, Company ID 45800171, VAT ID CZ45800171 (the processor).

## 1. Processing

The processor processes personal data in customer documents and related
publishing settings only to store, render, deliver, secure and support
EmbedFox. Processing lasts for the paid service term and the short deletion,
backup or legal-retention period needed to complete it.

## 2. Data and data subjects

Data may include names, contact data and other personal data that the customer
chooses to place in a document, plus publisher account data. Data subjects may
include the customer's staff, customers, readers and other people named in the
document. The customer remains responsible for deciding what it uploads and
for its own legal basis and reader notice.

## 3. Processor duties

Sinfin processes data only on documented customer instructions unless law
requires otherwise. It keeps authorised people confidential, applies
appropriate technical and organisational security measures, assists reasonably
with data-subject requests and incidents, and deletes or returns data at the
end of the service unless law requires retention.

## 4. Subprocessors and transfers

The customer authorises the service suppliers listed in the EmbedFox privacy
notice: Cloudflare for service and storage, Stripe for payments, Resend for
transactional email and self-hosted Sentry for sanitised error reporting.
Sinfin gives reasonable advance notice of a material new subprocessor through
the service or the account contact. Any transfer outside the EEA uses the
supplier's applicable lawful transfer safeguard.

## 5. Audit and contact

The customer may request information reasonably needed to show compliance.
Remote documentation review is the default; an on-site audit requires prior
agreement, reasonable notice, confidentiality and no disruption to other
