Product capability
A publishing API, built in public
EmbedFox is preparing an API for the systems that prepare documents, manage approvals and publish to your website.
Publish a PDFStart with the reader.
Start with a PDF upload, then share the reader URL or use the versioned embed snippet on your site.
- Publishing needs no API and no key: upload a PDF, then use the reader URL or the versioned embed snippet.
- The embed snippet is the stable integration point. It is versioned, so a page you build today keeps working as the product changes.
- A document keeps its slug when its file is replaced on a paid plan, so an address you wrote into a page stays correct.
Designed for publishing. There is no public API contract or API key to use yet. Public upload works without one: upload a PDF, then share its reader link or embed snippet.
What it does not do yet.
Naming the edge is more useful than implying there is none. These are on the product roadmap, not in the product.
- A public API contract, API keys, quotas and rate limits.
- Signed publishing events your website or CRM can react to.
For publishing over time
Automation that can be trusted.
The public contract will need repeat-safe uploads, clear quotas, rate limits and signed events before it can be relied on in a publishing workflow.
